Mackie Mixer Profx8 Review

I tried different usb cables and on different laptops desktops and this is just a piece of i have a small behringer 2 channels that i took out of the drawer and works flawlessly.

Still trying to figure out the effects button as sometimes the effects were there and sometimes weren t in the mix even though i thought i set it. Excellent and durable construction with nice channel options. The sliders and nobs feel well placed and sturdy. Slices of the mixer mackie profx8 have a 3 band active eq auxiliary outputs for external effects processors as well as 60mm faders.

Each channel has many options such as clip mute eq and line input etc. Mackie is a huge disappointment. I just think it s probably operator error. Recently i bought this mixer to replace an alesis multimix8 that had some channels busted within the first couple weeks.

Mackie pro fx8 a powerhouse mixer i was seeking a rehearsal mixer for my keyboards after much research i was sold that this mixer was the ticket for me and at a great price. Received the mackie profx8 channel mixer in record time and in perfect shape. Profx8 v2 owner here usb keeps being dropped so i just can t record using it. Took it for a test run and it performed fabulously.

I found the mixer very easy to operate and also it was extremely quiet in such a compact package and works well with my electro voice zlx 12p series active speaker cabinet.
